Data use at India Tea Jobs

India Tea Jobs is a hiring platform based in Dibrugarh, Assam, India. We use information to operate accounts, publish jobs, process applications, protect the service, and help employers and candidates communicate about a role. We do not sell personal data.

Information you provide

• Account details: name, email address, login method, role, and session information.
• Candidate details: profile name, phone number, role and experience, location, salary preferences, skills, education, work history, profile photo, CV, and application information.
• Employer details: organization and unit information, contact details, job postings, and application-management actions.
• Messages: information you submit through the contact form, including your name, email, subject, and message.

Information collected automatically

The service and its infrastructure may receive your IP address, browser or device information, request timestamps, and security events. These signals help us prevent abuse, maintain sessions, troubleshoot failures, and keep the platform safe. Cloudflare Web Analytics is optional and only runs when its production token is configured.

How candidate information is shared

• Your profile is shown to the employer connected to a job only after you apply to that job.
• Your current employer field is private and is not shown to employers.
• Contact details are initially hidden. An employer can manually reveal contact details for a specific application; the reveal is recorded against that application.
• If you choose to include your CV, the application keeps the submitted CV version for that application. Employers do not receive a CV you upload later unless you include it in another application.

Service providers

We use infrastructure and providers to run specific parts of the service:

• Cloudflare Pages/Workers, D1, R2, security controls, and optional analytics for hosting, storage, delivery, and abuse prevention.
• Resend for transactional account emails, application notifications, and contact-form delivery.
• Google sign-in when enabled for your account, and Google Translate only for supported user-entered content when the translation feature is configured.
• Cloudflare Turnstile for spam and automated-abuse protection on public forms.

SMS/MSG91 phone delivery is not currently enabled as a production dependency. If that changes, this notice will be updated before it is used for live verification.

Cookies and sessions

India Tea Jobs uses essential cookies or equivalent session tokens to keep you signed in, remember your language preference, and protect account actions. These are necessary for the service to work. We do not use advertising cookies today.

Account deletion and retention

You can request deletion from your profile or employer account area. The application deletes the account and its relational data, including the candidate profile and applications or the employer's organizations, units, jobs, and related applications. Candidate CV and profile-photo objects are also sent for deletion from file storage. Contact-unlock records linked to the deleted account are removed as part of that flow.

Security logs, email-provider records, infrastructure backups, and records that must be retained for legal or abuse-prevention reasons may remain for the period required by the relevant provider or law. They are not used to keep your India Tea Jobs account active.

Your choices

• Review and update your profile or organization information from your account.
• Withdraw an application from your profile while the application is still eligible for withdrawal.
• Delete your account from the account or profile controls.
• Contact us about access, correction, deletion, or a privacy concern.
